Wow - It has been a while

Posted by Fitness Dragon on Monday, February 13, 2012, In : General

I have not made as much progress as I would like but I will keep going.

I had surgery in late October early November 2011 and have had a lot of trouble getting back in step.

The fog seems to be lifting now. I have my eating habits back on track and doing some exercises. I have redesigned all of my workouts, so everything is fresh and I am determined to get back on track.

The mild winter this year is allowing me to do more walking out side so I am going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Posted by Fitness Dragon on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, In : General
Man,  I had not realized how long it had been since I updated.

My Vegan eating is going really well. I feel 100% better when I do not eat any aminal products. I have lost an aditional 5 pounds so that feels great as well.

My Gran died on Jan 11. I ended up driving 9 hours to go to her furneral. I was a nice sned off. She was 86 and in failing health so it was not all that unexpected - just a bit sad. It was unsettling to ealize how old every one is getting. I remember my uncles and cousins a be...

Today's Small Change: Increase your flexibility.
Say "Om"
The word yoga means "to join," and it may seem as though everybody's doing it these days. But yoga is thousands of years old — it's an ancient Indian practice that enhances flexibility, builds strength, and tones the body while emphasizing mind–body unity.

Yoga instills a sense of calm and relaxation, but it boosts stamina as well. The focus on d...

Today's Small Change: Move it outside.

Gear Up for the Great Outdoors

If the weather permits, exercising outside makes a whole lot of sense. First, it's free — no gym memberships or class fees to worry about. Second, it gives your skin an opportunity to produce vitamin D, the "sunshine vitamin," which is difficult to get enough of from diet alone. Third, it gives you a chance to enjoy your surroundings. ...

Update Monday Feb 16 2010

Posted by Kimberly Cornier on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, In : General

School is out again today. Even the kids are wanting to go back. Why the bus stops have snow at them. The school has been out over a week and this is really bad planing on the county's part.

I understand our kids have to be safe but with better planing on the governments part the kids would not have to miss so much school

I have kicked up my aerobic exercise again. Walking every hour for about 5 minutes. It help relax me and gives me just a little bit more that I have done. IT is really n...

Posted by Fitness Dragon on Friday, February 12, 2010, In : General

OK – here are the photos I promised. Some of the quality is not that good – they were scaned.

The first on is from June 1980. I was 12 years old. That is my dog Rusty with me. If you are wondering why I am holding his mouth. There was another dog in the photo and Rusty while very friendly with kids – did not like other dogs.

This my daughter and I taken in April 2001.

I was about 200 pounds here.

These photos of my daughter and I were taken in May 2001.

Kim's history

Posted by Kimberly Cornier on Friday, February 12, 2010, In : General

Hello again,

This is shaping up to be a wonderful day. The snow is melting, the sun is shinning and I hear the birds every time I step out of the door. It is also a 3 day weekend. My day job is as a programmer – helpdesk person for a transportation project – I just happen to work from home. So while everyone else was off this week – I have been putting in my full time.

Any way, I thought you might like to get to know me a little bit.

I am 41 – born April 10, 1968 in Baltimore, MD...
